On May 24th, County departmental Chief Information Officers (CIOs) will be treated to a special “sneak peek” of the DC1 at the Grand Opening of the new unified Los Angeles County Data Center 1. CIOs will be given a behind-the-scenes tour of the facility and learn how the DC1 will provide access to new technology tools, better data analysis and faster provisioning of computing resources before commencement of the regularly scheduled CIO meeting.
The tour will include discussions of improvements in sustainability, services & support, resiliency and security that will be realized in unifying the County’s information assets and applications into the DC1.
